Full HVAC System Replacement with New Duct Design in Lula GA

This one was a full gut-and-replace. The homeowner in Lula, GA needed a completely new HVAC system - and that meant the ductwork had to go too. Old ducts don't just lose efficiency over time, they can actually hold back a brand-new system from performing the way it should. So we started fresh.

We designed and installed a brand-new duct layout running through the basement. Every branch, every connection point was planned out to balance airflow across the whole house. That kind of intentional design is what separates a system that actually works from one that just runs.

The new insulated flexible ductwork is strapped clean along the floor joists and routes all the way back to the new equipment. No kinks, no sharp bends that choke airflow, just a clean path from the unit to every room. Proper duct design like this is the difference between a home that heats and cools evenly and one with hot and cold spots that never seem to go away.

A lot of homeowners focus entirely on the equipment when they think about upgrading their HVAC - and the equipment matters. But the duct system is just as important. An undersized, leaky, or poorly routed duct system will wear out a new unit faster and leave you wondering why your energy bills are still high. Getting the duct design right from the start protects your investment.

This is the kind of work we take seriously at Honor Heating and Air. A properly designed and sealed duct system means better comfort, better efficiency, and a system that's built to last.
